1 cup warm water

1-2 Tbsp fresh juice (1/2 lemon, juiced)

1 Tbsp pure maple syrup or honey

1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (make sure to get the kind with “mother”)

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 pinch cayenne pepper


Add all ingredients together in a cup or mug and stir to combine before drinking.


You can adjust the ingredients as needed to suit your own taste. More maple syrup or honey if you like it sweeter, reduce the amount of apple cider vinegar if you don’t like the taste. It’s not the most delicious drink in the world, but the health benefits are worth it!
